Bishop James E. Jordan, Jr. has pastored the Refreshing Spring Church of God in Christ since September 1995.

He was elevated to the Episcopal charge of Auxiliary Bishop in the Church of God in Christ in 2017. He formerly served as the Superintendent of the Gilbert Earl Patterson Memorial District, in the Greater Maryland First Jurisdiction COGIC.
He also previously served as the Superintendent of the A.D. Headen District in the Washington D.C. Jurisdiction, and as Pastor of the Holy Grace COGIC in Martinsburg, West Virginia.Bishop Jordan is supported in the ministry by his devoted wife, Mother Wilhelmenia Irene Joy Jordan, affectionately known as the “Queen of the Spring”. They have forged a holy bond through prayer and parenthood and celebrate over 50 years of blissful marriage.
